Sixteen passengers have sustained injuries following an accident involving a Toyota Hiace vehicle (GT 1910-14) at Adansi Kyeaboso in the Ashanti Region.
The incident occurred around 4:16 a.m. on Thursday, July 17, 2025.
The vehicle was travelling from Takoradi to Kumasi when the crash occurred.
It is unclear what caused the accident, but the white sprinter bus with registration number GT 1910-14 was left badly mangled.

The injured passengers were rescued by personnel from the Fomena Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), led by Sub Officer Addae. The team arrived within four minutes and swiftly averted further calamity.
The victims were transported to St. Bennito Hospital in Adansi Dompoase for medical attention.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are underway.
