The club statement said โ€the decision was made in the utmost interest of the club.โ€

Frimpong Manso had fallen out of favor with the rank and file of the club and was nearly attacked on Sunday after a stalemate with Nsoatreman at the Sunyani Coronation Park. Nsoatreman FC coach Maxwell Konadu was brutally assaulted when he tried to intervene.

Sundayโ€™s draw left Bofoakwa Tano in fifth place on the league table with 16 points.
