During Mahamas tour, NDC executives are dressed in military uniforms.

According to Baah Acheamfour, the Deputy Ashanti Regional Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), the camouflage outfits worn by a few party executives during former President John Dramani Mahama’s visit to the area were merely duplicates purchased from the Kejetia Market.

 

He clarified that there was nothing to do with the textiles appearing to be military insignia; rather, they were just regular copies sewn by their individual tailors.

 

We weren’t dressed in military clothes; instead, we were dressed in standard camouflage gear. The others’ decision to wear their camouflage gear surprised me, and our actions had little to do with security because there were.
