Minister of Education cautioned not to appoint Rev. Prof Amonoo Kuofi as UCC Council chairman

In what appears to be a covert move to appoint Rev. Prof. Harold Steward Amonoo-Kuofi as the Chairperson of the Governing Council of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) against the advice of numerous significant stakeholders, Minister of Education Dr. Osei Yaw Adutwum is reportedly racing against time.

The Minister is said to have been severely hurt by the University of Cape Coast Council’s decision to honor some of Adutwum’s internal political opponents. He tried everything to overturn the decision, but to no avail. This is why the last-minute move has gained so much attention.

It is believed that Prof. Amonoo-Kuofi is a cunning Machiavellian who will follow Adutwum’s orders.
