She recalled meeting Rosheuvel during costume and makeup fittings before she started watching the show. At that moment she did not know who Rosheuvel was and simply greeted her casually when they crossed paths in the makeup room. Rosheuvel was friendly and asked if she was nervous to be joining the cast. Leung said she was not nervous and only realized afterwards that she had spoken to the actress who plays the queen when she started watching season one.
Leung said she was glad she had not seen the show when she first met Rosheuvel because otherwise she might have been starstruck. She added that the rest of the cast was welcoming and made her feel comfortable and confident as she joined the Bridgerton world.
Season four of Bridgerton begins streaming on Netflix with part one released January 29 followed by part two on February 26
