Nicole Kidman Reveals The “Saviour Film” She Watches With Her Daughters

Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman has revealed the one movie she and her daughters turn to whenever they need cheering up.

During a recent appearance on the Las Culturistas podcast, the Oscar-winning star shared that the comedy film Bridesmaids has become a special comfort movie in their household. She described the film as their “saviour film,” explaining that it always lifts their spirits when they are feeling down.

Kidman said she often watches the movie with her younger daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, whom she shares with musician Keith Urban. According to her, the family enjoys the film so much that they do more than simply watch it. They also recite the lines and act out some of the scenes together at home.

The actress explained that the comedy helps create fun moments between her and her daughters, especially during stressful times. She noted that the film has become a reliable way for them to relax, laugh, and bond as a family.

Released in 2011, Bridesmaids became a major box-office success and received widespread praise for its humour and memorable performances. The movie earned Academy Award nominations, including one for Best Original Screenplay and another for Melissa McCarthy’s breakout supporting role.

Kidman made the revelation while promoting her upcoming television series Scarpetta. During the conversation, she also spoke about family life and the joy she finds in spending time with her children.

The actress has four children in total. In addition to Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, she also shares two older children, Bella and Connor, with her former husband Tom Cruise.

Her candid comments have resonated with many fans, who say the idea of having a “comfort movie” is something many families can relate to.
