MAN, 51, ALLEGEDLY INFLICTS CUTLASS WOUNDS ON HIS WIFE FOR CHEATING AT SEFWI WENCHI

Man, 51, has allegedly inflicted severe cutlass wounds on his wife for allegedly cheating on him at Sehwi Wenchi in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North region.


Yaw Takyi, a 51-year-old farmer at Sehwi Wenchi in the Bibiani Anhweaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region has allegedly inflicted severe cutlass wounds on his wife Martha Takyi for allegedly cheating on him after 25 years of marriage with eight children.

On his part, the unit committee member at Sehwi Wenchi, Yaw Ernest explained to the media that, he heard a crowd of people on the street shouting for help and he quickly went there to assist.

He went and saw Martha Takyi in a pool of blood, however, the victim confirmed to him that, her husband had attacked her with a machete. He quickly arranged for a vehicle and rushed the victim to the Bibiani government hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, the suspect has been apprehended and handed over to the police for further investigation while the victim is currently receiving treatment at the Bibiani government hospital.
