I Will Never Support Anyone Who Wants To Destroy Atta Mills Legacy _ Anyidoho

The Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Atta-Mills Institute, Mr Koku Anyidoho says he will never support anyone whose agenda is to destroy the legacy of the Late President, Prof. John Evans Atta-Mills.

According to him despite being dead, the legacy of the Late President lives on, and therefore the need to protect it.

Mr. Koku Anyidoho made the comments on Atinka TV’s current affairs show, ‘The Agenda’ with Nana Yaw Fianko.

“I will be a fool and I am not, I will be stupid and I am not, to allow the legacy of President Mills to die because my own legacy is tied to that legacy. Your father is dead, does it bring the family to an end, it has not come to an end,” he said.

He continued,”My own legacy, politically, forever and ever is tied to that of President John Evan Atta-Mills, so I will be stupid, too foolish to follow somebody whose agenda is to destroy that legacy, I will not do it.”

When asked whose agenda he was talking about, he replied, “Everybody knows what I am talking about.”

He was not happy that the Former President, John Dramani Mahama claimed certain things for himself when Atta-Mills started it.

Mr. Koku Anyidoho said, “You did not construct the University of Allied and Sciences and you say you did, You did not construct the University of Ghana Medical School, you say you did it, you did not construct Ridge, you say you did it, even Kwame Nkrumah Interchange, Circle, WHY? All these things were initiated by President Mills, just acknowledge him.”

He noted that of all the names people call him, they do not call him greedy, selfish, or corrupt because he was taught to be content which he has been.

However, he admitted that people will say he is rude and he does not like the Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. John Mahama.

“Assuming that it is true, and so what? Do I owe him?  President Mills was my political father, I did not worship him, I loved him.” he stated.

Meanwhile, he said the NDC is not as democratic as it used to be, saying that even when one criticizes something, they will call the person anti -Mahama, saying he refuses to be used.
