The club statement said ”the decision was made in the utmost interest of the club.”
Frimpong Manso had fallen out of favor with the rank and file of the club and was nearly attacked on Sunday after a stalemate with Nsoatreman at the Sunyani Coronation Park. Nsoatreman FC coach Maxwell Konadu was brutally assaulted when he tried to intervene.
Sunday’s draw left Bofoakwa Tano in fifth place on the league table with 16 points.
