Detectives in South Africa have arrested a 41-year-old man for attempted murder and possession of an unlicensed firearm with ammunition.

The man allegedly shot his 18-year-old son while cleaning a firearm._ The incident occurred last December, and the father is set to appear before the White River Magistrate’s Court.
