Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has expressed confidence that his party will secure a majority of the seats in the orphan constituency in the 2024 election.
He believes that this may be accomplished by the party’s grassroots members working extremely hard and with a great deal of determination.
On Saturday, December 2, 111 orphan constituencies across the country saw the election of parliamentary candidates by the NPP.
The Vice President remarked in a statement that the peaceful and orderly election process demonstrates their preparedness for the 2024 election.
“Today’s events have amply proved our party’s readiness and resolve to unseat the National Democratic Congress and win a majority of these seats.
“With the general elections of 2024 rapidly approaching, I am extremely pleased with the caliber of candidates selected.
