FBI Releases Images of Person of Interest and Offers $100,000 Reward in Charlie Kirk Shooting

Federal investigators have intensified their search for the suspect involved in the shooting of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, releasing new images of a person of interest and announcing a $100,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.

According to officials, the FBI obtained surveillance footage showing a man they believe may have crucial information about the attack. The images, released late Wednesday, show the individual near the scene shortly before the shooting took place. Investigators have not confirmed whether this person directly carried out the shooting but emphasized that identifying him is now a top priority.

Charlie Kirk, founder of the conservative organization Turning Point USA, was shot earlier this week in what authorities are describing as a targeted attack. While Kirk survived, the incident has drawn national attention, prompting calls from political leaders and supporters for swift justice.

The FBI stated that the $100,000 reward is available to anyone who can provide information that leads to the location, arrest, and conviction of the suspect. Officials are urging the public to review the released images carefully and report any relevant tips immediately through the bureau’s hotline or local field offices.

“This remains an active investigation, and we are working around the clock to identify the person responsible,” an FBI spokesperson said in a statement.

The shooting has sparked widespread reactions across the political spectrum, with some leaders calling it a disturbing escalation of political violence in the country. As the manhunt continues, authorities are relying on public cooperation to bring the perpetrator to justice.
