Ozzy Osbourne’s last words to sisters before death at 76 revealed
Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne breathed his last weeks after farewell concert
Ozzy Osbourne’s sisters Jean Powell and Gillian Hemming publicly laid bare the last text messages they received from their now late brother.
Reportedly, the Black Sabbath frontman last contacted his elder siblings on the night of his last live gig on July 5.
“I got a text off him as he drove down Lodge Road, where we used to live near the stadium,” Jean, 85, told The Mirror. “He said he couldn’t believe all the crowds were walking down our old street to watch him perform, he was blown away.”
She recalled breaking down in tears as she looked at the crowds in the stadium, all waiting to see her brother.
Jean and Gillian, 80, didn’t get to talk to him much that night. However, Ozzy, who is married to Sharon Osbourne, later sent them a heartwarming text.
The two surviving sisters remembered how their younger brother was in awe of the massive turnout as he drove down Lodge Road in Birmingham, overwhelmed by the number of people who came to see him and his bandmates.
As the Osbourne siblings lived through that surreal experience, Ozzy sadly passed away at the age of 76 in his Buckinghamshire home, just weeks after bidding farewell to his fans at his final show.
