Quinton Aaron Fundraiser Surpasses Its Goal as Support Pours In During His Recovery Fight

Supporters of Quinton Aaron, the actor best known for playing Michael Oher in The Blind Side, have rallied around him after he was hospitalised with a serious blood infection. A GoFundMe campaign launched to help cover his medical and living expenses has now exceeded its fundraising goal of $35,000 after generous donations from fans and organisations.

The fundraiser was organised by Veterans Aid Network, a nonprofit group, at the request of Aaron’s wife to assist with unexpected costs as the actor remains in intensive care on life support while undergoing treatment. Donations have climbed past the original target and include a significant $10,000 contribution from Alcon Entertainment, a company behind major films like Blade Runner.

Aaron, 41, collapsed at his Atlanta home before being rushed to hospital where doctors diagnosed him with a severe blood infection. Recent updates indicate he is now stable and communicating with loved ones, though he still faces a challenging recovery that may include rehabilitation.

Fans and well‑wishers continue to show support as the actor, his family and his medical team work toward his recovery
