The Ghana Education Service (GES) has suspended the headmistress of Ghana Senior High School (SHS), Koforidua, over unauthorized prospectus._ According to the Ghana Education Service, the headmistress, Mrs Patience Naki Mensah, is supervising the collection of unauthorized Prospectus from SHS Freshers. Students are asked to buy ceremonial cloth worth ¢200, track suites worth ¢250 and other items not listed on the National Prospectus. GES has asked her to step down as they begin investigations into the matter. This comes after the Ghana Education Service (GES) released the National SHS prospectus for the 2023/2024 academic year. All Senior High Schools in Ghana are advised to solely use the prospectus provided by the Ghana Education Service.
