Kylie Jenner Reveals Fans Harassed Her After Launch Of Kylie Cosmetics

Reality television star and beauty entrepreneur Kylie Jenner has revealed that the early days of her makeup brand were far more stressful than many people realised.

In a recent interview, Jenner reflected on the overwhelming pressure she faced after launching Kylie Cosmetics in 2015. The brand’s first product, the famous Lip Kits, sold out almost instantly after release, creating massive demand among fans around the world.

While the rapid success was seen as a major achievement, Jenner said the experience was difficult for her personally. She explained that many customers became frustrated when they were unable to purchase the products, leading to intense criticism and harassment on social media.

According to Jenner, the constant complaints and pressure made the first year of the business extremely stressful. She admitted that instead of enjoying the success, she spent much of that period worried about meeting demand and dealing with angry messages from fans who could not get the products.

The entrepreneur also revealed that she initially invested about $250,000 of her own savings to launch the cosmetics line, a move she described as a major risk at the time. Despite warnings that the products might not sell, the gamble eventually paid off as the brand quickly became one of the most successful celebrity beauty businesses.

Over the years, Kylie Cosmetics has expanded beyond lip products to include skincare, fragrances, and a wider range of makeup items. The brand has grown into a global beauty empire and remains closely tied to Jenner’s personal image and social media influence.

Jenner said the experience taught her valuable lessons about running a business under intense public scrutiny. Despite the early challenges, she remains committed to growing the brand and hopes to eventually turn it into a lasting legacy for her family.
