Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce may have gone big with their engagement reveal, but when it comes to the wedding, the couple is planning to keep things low-key.
A source told People magazine in a report published September 9 that the pop megastar and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end “want to keep it more private” when they tie the knot.
“It will definitely be a private affair and not a spectacle,” the insider said, adding that the pair’s tight-knit group of friends will ensure their privacy is respected.
Swift, 35, announced the engagement on Instagram on August 26, posting cosy photos from Kelce’s proposal with the cheeky caption, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”

The NFL star sealed the moment with an old mine brilliant cut diamond, a ring the source says Swift is “still showing off.” “She’s incredibly happy,” they added. “It’s all just perfect.”
The wedding may be in the distance, but life isn’t slowing down for either of them.
Kelce just kicked off his 13th NFL season, while the Grammy-winning singer is gearing up for her October 3rd release of her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl.
As Kelce teased on his New Heights podcast, bachelor party plans haven’t crossed his mind yet — but he promised, “It’s gonna go crazy.”
